"This place is so great. Great prices, good portions and wonderful service! The salad bar was a really nice option. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. I even accidentally left my leftover and my waitress, Debby went in the parking lot to find me! Highly recommend."

"Been here multiple times and it just keeps getting better. Just had the protein bowl with steak and it is definitely one of the best things I have had in showlow. The staff here are amazing and are always friendly and helpful! It is beautiful inside and just love coming here! Highly recommend!! Love the food here and I have yet have a bad meal!! Another one of my favorites are their breakfast tacos with bacon!!! So freakin good!!"

"Beautifully remodeled and very spacious. Service was prompt, food was delicious. Family tried the meatloaf, chicken fried steak and liver and onions. All meals were delicious and appropriate portions. The salad/ soup bar was very good!! They have delicious micro greens!!!"

"We hadn't been to SL Cafe since they reopened. The place looked nicely redone from what we could see. The booth was comfy. The waitress was kind, but not overly friendly. She seemed as though she was just doing her job. I ordered breakfast & hubby had a chili size burger (if that's what it's called). We were so excited to try it. All seemed fine, our order was taken & both my hubby & I made mention of NO onions on his burger. The waitress should have understood that since we both said it. We waited a bit (very few people there), & then the order came out. It was completely full of onions all over. We did mention that to the man who brought it out...but we didn't have him take it back because we would have to wait much longer & then my food would have been cold. The man seemed fine with that & we never heard "Are you sure, I'll get you a new one?" I think he was relieved that he didn't have to. My hubby proceeded to take off as many onions as possible. About 8 min. later the waitress came by. She made no acknowledgement of the onions being on there. So I said "Everything's fine, but we did ask you for NO onions, please." Sadly, her response was "Well, that's the way I put it in to them". Nary another comment from her. We finished eating & thought maybe when she came by with the check that she would have apologized or even given us a little discount or something. Nothing said, just the check. As my hubby does, he will always give at least 20% percent for a tip...but he will say we won't be going back. I certainly agree with him. So sad because we probably would have tried it again. We would have given 4-5 stars if the situation had been handled better, especially by the waitress."

"OMG! Everything was sooo yummy! And their menu had SO many choices it was hard to choose. I ended up going with the Bacon/Avocado burger w/ tots. And did it hit the spot! Will be back to try the other choices. Oh! I almost forgot they have an ALL YOU CAN SALAD BAR!"
